Indubitable Issues and Pull List (12/20/17)

Tyler’s Recommendations…
X-Men Grand Design #1
“Creator extraordinaire Ed Piskor arrives to the mutant universe, expect superb art and storytelling.”

Marvel Two-In-One #1
“Johnny and Ben are back! Hopefully this is just a precursor to the return of Marvel’s first family, I sorely miss the Fantastic Four.”
Josh’s Recommendation…
Teen Titans the Silver Age TPB Vol 01
“Once upon a time, teen sidekicks were a thing. Some time later, they formed their own superteam like their mentors did. While everyone thinks of the cartoon iteration, or the New Teen Titans, this is where it all began for the junior Justice League. For those who enjoy the simplistic, wackiness of the Silver Age or want to see the Titans in their early adventures, pick this up.”
Dean’s Recommendations…
Batman #37
“You can’t be missing anymore Tom King Batman issues! Batman is one of the best comics of year. This week we even get some terrific Clay Mann art to go along with it. It doesn’t matter that the book is in the middle of an arc right now, just get it and enjoy.”
Head Lopper #8
(Yes, I realize this is the exact same comment I left last time I recommended Head Lopper. Don’t expect anything different next time either.)
As we’re sure you all have noticed, the pull list page is no longer present. We here at Nothing But Comics have decided to combine this weekly with the discussion of which comics we are all buying for the week. Included below is the link of our personal favorite product guide. Don’t worry, this is not an advertisement; the website is not paying us anything to push it (not that we’d object!). Comic List just happens to be totally awesome. So check out that massive list and then come on back here to let us know what you are buying.

I never understood “Ninjak”… now I do… fantastic first issue. We find out that Ninja “k” is actually Ninja number 11. Finally… I get it. I’ve always liked Christos Gage… he is never terrible and sometimes he hits it out of the park.

For those of you in the Christmas spirit… there was a good “evil Santa” Krampus Image series that came out a few years back. Krampusnacht reminded me.

    1. I really like the design of the HEAD LOPPER issues; I think it’s a great value for the story provided, and I like the pin-ups in the back. I also like the trade collection of the previous mini-series. Skelton Krew Studios (the group that does the LOCKE & KEY key replicas) has a Norgal action figure that I pre-ordered and that I can’t wait to get.
