Indubitable Issues and Pull List (01/24/18)

Josh’s Recommendation…
Legion #1
“Pretty much entirely because of the FX TV show by Noah Hayley, I’m curious as to what Marvel can do to capitalize on that crossover interest. ‘Legion’ is weird, eclectic, and personal, which is mostly anthetical to Big 2 Superhero comics. But, if anyone can bring some necessary weirdness and introspection to an X-Men comic, it’s Peter Milligan.”

Tyler’s Recommendation…
Marvel Two-in-One #2
“As an F4 fan, I’m very excited by the possible return of Marvel’s first family. For now, a comic with Ben, Johnny, and Dr. Doo– er, Infamous Ironman
is the perfect appetizer.”
Dean’s Recommendations…
Black Magick #10
“After more than a year in between the first and second arc we are finally getting a consistently regular dose of Black Magick. Nicola Scott has been brilliant, as usually, on this title and Greg Rucka has once again crafted a compelling story centered around an intriguing protagonist.”
Southern Bastards #19
“Well, Southern Bastards it currently on a 3 issues per year pace, but seeing as it is January and we are already getting one, I’m optimistic we might see a few more this year. In any case this has always been one of the best comics of the week no matter how long it has been between issues.”
As we’re sure you all have noticed, the pull list page is no longer present. We here at Nothing But Comics have decided to combine this weekly with the discussion of which comics we are all buying for the week. Included below is the link of our personal favorite product guide. Don’t worry, this is not an advertisement; the website is not paying us anything to push it (not that we’d object!). Comic List just happens to be totally awesome. So check out that massive list and then come on back here to let us know what you are buying.
