Indubitable Issues and Pull List (02/28/18)

LOOKING FOR BOOKS TO BUY THIS WEEK?

LOOK NO FURTHER.

HERE ARE SOME ISSUES THAT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.

Tyler’s Recommendation…
Doom Patrol/JLA Special #1
“The finale to the Milk Wars is here! I have enjoyed this mini event comic very much, each issue offered something fun to chew on, and the alternate versions of some of our favorite DC characters were awesome. Check this one out if you enjoy some old fashioned weird!”

 Josh’s Recommendation…
The Terrifics #1
“In a stroke of meta slams, DC is publishing a ‘Fantastic Four’ comic because Marvel won’t. That’s no reason to buy this book. You should buy this book because it’s being done by two excellent creators, Jeff Lemire and Ivan Reis, who are are the ideal people to write an FF series, and because DC is at the moment the ideal company to publish a series in the spirit of the ‘Fantastic Four’.”

Pat’s Recommendations…
Days of Hate #2
“Ales Kot & Danijel Zezelj debuted the intriguing Days of Hate last month; a near future exploration of race, nationalism, and how that shapes our interaction of reality. Going into it’s second issue, this’ll be a book to watch for over it’s planned twelve issues.”

Motor Crush #10
“Beautifully buck wild and like nothing else out there, this exotic motor cycle racing love story continues to suprise and impress for it’s dynamic and exciting visual story telling”

Black Panther #170
“Somewhat forgotten by the comic zeitgeist, Ta-Nehisi Coates Black Panther has been hitting a high point as of late, with artist Leonard Kirk providing visceral visual storytelling for some of Coates most creative comics writing. The books last installment might have been the best single issue superhero title of the year so far, and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down as it heads towards it’s renumbering in May.”

As we’re sure you all have noticed, the pull list page is no longer present. We here at Nothing But Comics have decided to combine this weekly with the discussion of which comics we are all buying for the week. Included below is the link of our personal favorite product guide. Don’t worry, this is not an advertisement; the website is not paying us anything to push it (not that we’d object!). Comic List just happens to be totally awesome. So check out that massive list and then come on back here to let us know what you are buying.

Biggest week Ive had in a while. I hear that Vin Diesel is our new Bloodshot. I know that some people think that Diesel can’t act but “Find Me Guilty” dispels that. I hope he doesn’t dial it in like he has in the last few fast movies.

    1. I’ve been a fan of Rockwell since his role in The Green Mile. The guy is a terrific actor. He should have won all the awards for Moon.
