Writer Ed Brubaker of Kill or Be Killed, Criminal, Captain America and the HBO series Westworld will be teaming with Drive director Nicholas Winding Refn for a new television series for Amazon Prime streaming service titled Too Old To Die Young. According to Brubaker via his newsletter
“So yes, that’s what I’ve been working on that’s kept me so busy the past several months. It’s a TV series that Nicolas Winding Refn and I co-created and are co-writing every episode of, and he’s directing the entire thing. And yes, it is a crime series. Other than that, I am sworn to secrecy.”

The weather might suggest otherwise, but December has arrived and with it the inevitable year’s end lists. Luckily, at Nothing But Comics, we’re quite fond of year’s end lists. Our first group Top Ten will arrive tomorrow, but first I offer up my annual look back at some of the most memorable character from 2016.
All entries are listed alphabetically. For simplicity sake, characters without code names are listed by first name.
In only it’s fourth issue, Kill or Be Killed continues to be one of comics most outstanding series. Dark and moody with a strain of hyper realism contrasting with the books supernatural elements; Kill or Be Killed is Brubaker, Phillips & Breitweiser best Image Comic’s work yet.
